Dr. Kedner Maxime’s journey is the story of the American Dream built entirely on faith, resilience, and hard work. Arriving in the United States from Haiti in April 1981 as an 18-year-old student, he spoke little English and started with nothing. He washed dishes in local restaurants for $2.50 an hour and mowed grass on hot Florida golf courses for $4.50 an hour, working up to three jobs at a time to provide for his family. He has never forgotten the struggle of living paycheck-to-paycheck, and that is why he is stepping up to fight for you.

For over thirty years, Dr. Maxime has stood in the trenches with Florida’s 20th District. As the founder of Advantage Tax Firm Consulting Services (since 1996), he has sat across kitchen tables from thousands of local taxpayers—helping them navigate tax codes, start businesses, and achieve the dream of U.S. citizenship. As a pastor for 16 years at L’Eglise la Voix du Salut and a trusted WLQY 1320AM radio host for two decades, his leadership has always been driven by a simple, unyielding creed: Service over Politics, Solutions over Promises.
